Product engineer · Lagos, Nigeria

I turn unclear product problems into software people can rely on.

I work from operational needs through interface, backend, AI, testing, and release. Recent work includes public-sector systems, AI products, mobile apps, and real-time platforms.

Selected work

Products, systems, and the work behind them.

Some client work is anonymized. The details below focus on the problem, my contribution, and the evidence I can discuss.

Public sector · NDA-safe

Enterprise HRIS/PMS

A federal-ministry employee and performance system that needed dependable imports, role-safe workflows, and traceable changes across more than 2,000 records.

My contribution
I production-hardened the platform, built and verified the contract-import pipeline, improved audit governance, and removed costly query patterns.
Evidence
Row-level import verification, contract version history, audit trails, idempotency protection, and controlled reset and reimport cycles.

Ksteps AI content studio interface

Live AI product

Ksteps

A content studio that turns a CV or knowledge base into platform-ready posts, then supports scheduling and publishing workflows.

My contribution
I worked across the product and admin surfaces, including generation, scheduling, social account management, audit history, and analytics.
Evidence
A live multi-surface workflow with publish-on-behalf behavior, operational visibility, Playwright regression coverage, and Vitest tests.

Theosis real-time AI game landing page

Real-time AI product

Theosis

A multiplayer game where model calls, matchmaking, turn handling, and reconnect-safe state all need to agree under real use.

My contribution
I worked on multiplayer rooms, socket authentication, race-condition fixes, game-end flows, rate limits, and upload security.
Evidence
Reconnect-safe state, idempotent event handling, queue workers, security headers, and S3 presigned uploads.

Personal mini-app

letters2u

A small browser tool for turning a short message into a downloadable card with deliberately loud backgrounds.

My contribution
I designed and built the complete interaction as a focused creative tool with no account or setup required.
Evidence
A compact Canvas-based flow from writing and styling through image export.

How I work

Product judgment, then dependable execution.

  1. 01
    Understand the operating reality

I map the people, constraints, data, and failure modes before choosing a solution.

  2. 02
    Cut a useful scope

I turn ambiguous requests into a testable release and push back when complexity does not earn its place.

  3. 03
    Build across the seams

I work across interfaces, APIs, data, automation, AI integrations, and mobile clients as the product requires.

  4. 04
    Verify the real workflow

I use regression tests, instrumentation, runbooks, and production checks to make releases easier to trust.

Working range

Enough range to follow the product problem.

TypeScript, React, React Native, Expo, Next.js, Svelte, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, test automation, and AI integrations using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and VoyageAI.

Before engineering, I managed international development programs, budgets up to $250K, and teams of up to 50 people. That experience still shapes how I handle stakeholders, delivery, and ambiguity.
